See post #10 below. Another chair added.

My wife likes to recover worn out lawn chairs with macrame weaving and has been doing it for many years.
While looking for some cord at her favorite cord suppliers she saw a listing for GITD cord and asked me about it. I wrote the company asking what technology they were using but they never answered my email. I thought what the heck and encouraged my wife to buy a roll even though it might be the older Zinc based GITD.
She tried it out on a chair for our granddaughter Katie, who likes GITD paint & stickers which she has on her bedroom wall. The other cord colors match her bedroom colors and her name in blazing GITD.
The first picture was taken in normal daylight with a flash.

This was taken with a digital camera on a 2 second exposure and over exposed. The cord was first charged up with a Mag85.
:lolsign:

BTW, it glowed all night long. Must be the new stuff.

Could you provide the specifics of the supplier? That looks like lovely stuff!
(and that's a very impressive chair!)

The cord is from macramesuperstore.com & is available in 4mm & 6mm & is called Glow.
Thank you for the compliment.

Another chair done. This one is for my granddaughter Lily. She is almost three years old.

Meet Lily. She is helping her Dad build an airplane. A four seat RV-10.

Great stuff!! I can see EVERY flashaholic wanting their own glowing chair!!

To help speed up the searching for the cord I have tracked down the links for you all to enjoy!

The 4mm glow cord (100 Yards @ $7.99) is here

The 6mm glow cord (50 Yards @ $3.99) is here

The 6mm glow cord (100 Yards @ $12.79) is here

I can't understand why you can buy 150 yards of the 6mm (3x50 yards) for less than buying 1 x 100 yards!!! Anyway hopefully this has saved some searching for anyone else who is keen on finding pretty cord!!!

Cheers Harvey
