J,
Yours has got to be the most specific strain of the flashaholism virus I've heard of so far!
I don't think that you'll be disappointed with anything that Kazu makes for you. My holster is almost level with my belt at the top (it certainly doesn't stick up above the waistband of my trousers) and can be almost completely hidden behind a credit card, but it's still quite rigid to protect the contents.

Have fun sketching.

Don

Does anyone know if one of Kazu's holsters for the HDS will also fit the McLuxIII-PD?

Kazu, I think the HDS and McLux are almost the same size - can you do a holster for the McLuxIII-PD if you have the measurements?

I've been wearing Kazu's holster for my HDS for three weeks now.
HDS 42XRGT and Kazu's holster makes a fantastic EDC.
Thanks again Kazu.

Hi, Kazu.

Are you still making holsters?

I have an HDS EDC Ultimate 60 XRGT and would like holster in a Horizontal carry with belt clip, where the light is sideways rather than pointing up and down.

I can post a drawing if you are able to make a custom holster.

Thanks,
-Ed

Here is a quick sketch of what I had in mind.

Edwood_HDS_HorizontalHolster_01.jpg

Would be with a 1-1/2" belt clip, and a small hole/slot in the bottom to allow a finger to push the flashlight out of the pouch.

I have the Stainless Steel Bezel on my HDS, so it's a little longer, just under 3.5" long.

Let me know if this "Horizontal Pouch" is feasible, or if it's better, Maybe a standard holster that is sideways with a belt clip.

Does anyone know if I can get these sent into Australia? I have fears about our customs seizing them. Really strict rules here.

I had no hassle with customs, Kazu's work is faultless. you'll be very happy if you order one.

Hi Edwood,

Thank you for interest.
And thank you for beautiful sketch.

Because a clip is long, it is difficult. (7.5cm)
A belt loop is all right.

However, Strength around a rivet is uneasy.
Is it possible if I make it with thick leather?

It seems to be difficult to me.

Thank you,

Nice sketc Edwood ! Kazu, you are a pro man.
The clip is higher (7.5cm) then the height of the horizontal holster.

I do like the idea and I would really like to see this happen !
I know Kazu will come with a fix for it !

Cheers !

Thank you for sending a picture.
Please wait about a cost of three Raw holder for a few days.
Consultation is necessary about a design.
I write it in an order list.

Thanks,
kazu

Kazu, I'm guessing that you didn't manage to figure a way to make this work ??

Belt loop will work then.

Please make whatever changes to make the case work and be strong enough for your standards. I did not make my drawing to scale, just a quick sketch to show what I had in mind.

Hi bombelman,

Thank you for a message.
However, I am not professional so that you think.
I am inexperienced and make it with side business.
I made a thing of oneself use at first.
Because I begin to make it and have begun to introduce it in CPF one month later, I am an amateur.

Hi Jay R,

I'm sorry, The holster of your three type Raw ns was not yet over.
I thought in various ways, but a main profession became busy during a study because it was difficult.
I cannot go for the next work if I cannot solve business with you.
Are you interested in it about three type Raw ns now?

Hi Edwood,

Some time seems to be need, I'm sorry.

Thank you!:)

Are you saying:

1. You cannot have my design made?

or

2. Design can be made, but will need more time to make it?

or

3. Design can be made, but will need more time due to backlog of holsters that need to be made for other orders already in process?
