I have a Mdocod 2X 18650 holder on the way and I am looking to try out my new IMR 18650's with the mn21. I know that this is overdriving the mn21 but I will be using AW's softstart and using rested cells so wish me luck...

Welcome to the club! :twothumbs

I also favor the same set up as mdocod.

Ah yes, the Megalennium/1185/AW softstart is my favorite light too!

Thanks to Bill and Mikey, one of my Megalenniums with trits is back home with me now. If I had the 2X18650 battery carrier, I would also try the 1111 in there.

Since this is an M6 thread, I have to say

CONGRATS ON YOUR M6!

Yeah, I like the 1111 as well with 2x 18650 and soft start. But I think it is just fun to have so many combinations available right now. Litho123, FM, AW, and mdocod all deserve kudos for making these options possible.

Oh, and if you can find one of those uber rare M6 extensions, you can get some longer runtimes out of this first rate incan:

I got my second M6...

So did I! Last week I put together a "Sea Cucumber." I bought a M3 bezel from SF for $42 and got the body/tailcap/battery magazine from another CPFer. I put a beam diffuser on it and carry it in a SOE M6 holster. With the beam diffuser on it I can holster it bezel down, I'm not too fond of the light resting on the momentary switch. 2+ hours of runtime with the MN10 LA with a relatively flat discharge curve it is so satisfying.
