Even on an 18350 my m91bw feels like it runs forever. The 91's are seriously such a good drop in.
Malkoff website states for the XPL version, a voltage range of 5.5-12V. I wonder what's different between them? I heard rumors that the new versions of M91B, and Hound Dogs (including super) were updated so they could run on one battery, but it's nothing official and the website's info hasn't changed. Anyone with solid info on that?Until very recently I wasn't aware that the driver in the regular Hound Dog v3 had been updated to accept lower voltage. I've been having a bit of fun with it since that discovery. Did this happen around the same time that the M91B driver changed?
This one is a 4000K v3, and I have a 5000K v3 with old style head that doesn't work at 4.2V and below.

I've heard that, but has anyone done an "official" runtime and regulation test? Rumors say the last versions are better at running with only one battery (including the Hound Dog regular and super), but no one knows for sure since Malkoff's website has no updated info.
