Melbourne, Victoria CPF 2013 meet - 27th April

OK guys after a 4-5 month break since our last meet, its time to catch up again. Open to suggestions and ideas.

Date? Location? Who's coming?

Is Saturday the 4th of May convenient for everyone? Lysterfield Lake(again) or somewhere different?

How about the weekend before? I'm busy the morning of the 5th and there won't be enough time to get home if i'm in Melbourne on the 4th.

Evening of the 27th might work. Pretty sure i have a few things on but i wont be 'away' so its still possible.

Lysterfield is good for me given its 10minutes from home but i dont mind traveling a little ways, again depending what i have on during the day.

Hmmm , not sure I have anything overly new ? Might be something new on the way , but ?? ( who knows what it is or if it gets here in time )

RC helicopters might be interesting ? also have a quad ! with inbuilt video camera ... Review on my site

I may also have a 4.5a dedomed XM-L2 Solarforce m3 head from vinhnguyen - if it arrives in time.

I reckon instead of the usual meeting spot away from the waters edge, this time we should drive deeper inside where we can use the tower as a target. Its a good 300m from the picnic table.

Simon, your RC helicopter sounds awesome and I want to see it in action. Imagine strapping a Firefox 3 to it and flying it around!!

I also have a 60kph brushless buggy that I can bring to the next meet if anyone wants a play?

It would probably carry the FF3, but you wouldn't want to risk me ditching it into the lake!

Did you get your TN31MB? I was hoping you could come - they sound like impressive beasties!
