How effective could it really be? It is probably better than nothing but people go to a club or discothèque and see strobe lights and provided they don't have epilepsy it is a fun time.
I am more worried about a light with a strobe and crenilated bezel being seen as a weapon under laws similar to the VCR Act 2006.
