Hello all, I want to get a violet light to use to charge glow in the dark items. Ideally it would be fairly small as I don't think it needs to be very bright. I have owned a 21 LED, 3 AAA "UV" light before, but it was bulky and the batteries drained quickly.

Another option would be for me to buy a cheap 5 mm LED flashlight and replace the LED with a violet one.
I look forward to reading your comments, thanks.

Thanks, I looked it up and there are some sipik clones in UV as well, other than 18650s there is not much else on amazon.

Nitecore CU6 chameleon has the best UV led wavelength IMO. All the others are bright and purple.. Too much visible spectrum.

Also, surprisingly I may add.. a good test is to use get a $100 bill to view the hidden strip. All the other UV lights I have seen have a difficult time illuminating the orange strip. This is the only LED that really make it visible.. Like a UV tube light.

I should say that I went ahead and ordered a $7 zommie style light but I still want to consider better options if it does not work well.
