Turn your Maglite into the ultimate survival flashlight.
Like our previous battery tubes, these will securely hold 18650 Lithium Ion batterys in your maglite without damaging them. These tubes have the same high quality as our other tubes, but are much more capable.
We are utilizing empty space in our light and filling it with Military Grade 550 Parachute Cord.
Paracord has a tensile strength of 550# minimum and consists of 7 inner strands. The 7 inner strands can easily be removed from the inside of the cord and be used for lighter duty tasks. With 7 inner strands, plus the outside casing, you have roughly 64 feet of cord.
Uses of Paracord:
-Building a shelter
-Fishing (inner strands)
-Tying down items
-Reparing Shoelaces
-Etc.
I have had mine for a few months, and have used it for various every day tasks such as securing kayak to a vehicle, building a clothes line, and a few other times. I know that as long as I have my light, I have paracord.
Paracord is abrasion resistant, and these battery tubes are easily re-raveled onto the tube after the cord is used for a specific task.
