I heard the Jacob A60 is a nice thrower at $15. You'd want to open it up and tweak the heatsinking though.

If you can find a Maglite on sale at that price, then that could be a better choice durability wise.

The A60 does throw a lot I think it is like 12 or 13 bucks is all. If you want to go up to 30 then you have a lot more choices.

Yes just go to eBay and get any cheap china flashlight that has a Cree T6 XM-L LED. They are very bright. 1,000 Lumen. Some have a projector lens zoom. others have a reflector. Most are under $15
