Re: What VN (or other)lights do you have in your vehicle?

Nitecore Tube always on my keychain. Sk68 incase it gets lost or broken, I won't mind. And a Feit Electric 500 lumen 2 mode Costco special. 3C lasts a long time and is basically a baton.

A bricklayer that did some work for me years ago was wearing this T-shirt that had written across the front. "I R A Enginear". Priceless!

for the next few months usps should be very quick as the holiday season is over and people are not buying much online so first class and priority mail should take 2 days

Re: What VN (or other)lights do you have in your vehicle?

A VINH modded 4Sevens mini123 with neutral XPE2 and 16340 is always in mine.
I have a regular mini123 hiCRI in my tour van.
I'm too worried about theft to leave anything nicer in my vehicles.
I also occasionally leave my L3 twisty 219 AA in there as a loaner with eneloops.

Re: The search for a 10 amp switch for P-60. CQvn owners, you need this

Hi Adam,
My switch is only really compatible with Solarforce tailcaps, as they are slightly deeper than Surefire ones, but will work with all types of Surefire P60 type bodies, along with all the clones.
They also won't fit into the tailcaps with the stainless rings on them.
If you're still interested, my paypal address is: [email protected]
Price is $25 for the first switch, $20 for additional switches. This includes international shipping and two different length threaded posts for each switch.
Cheers,
Peter

So it may take a little tweaking to get it inside your tailcap, but after reading all of his thread I didn't see a single complaint about having to mod it for a P-60. He includes two different sized posts to fit more types of tailcaps.

Like a few other folks on here I received my lanyard from Tyxxvxl today. Needless to say I am not disappointed and am a very happy individual since this new lanyard is just awesome. Here is a pic:

Engineers, post your profession here

I think there are alot of engineers that are flashaholics. Just curious how many visit Vihn's forum. I'm a mechanical engineer that works on ships. What do you do?

Chemical Engineer - Pulp & Paper. I work for an equipment supplier but spend ~65% of my time at customer sites getting the process equipment to run properly. We sell the major pieces of equipment in a recycle mill - all the major pieces before a paper machine. US based / headquartered company.

I wasn't sure what to expect since I don't have huge amounts of experience with para cord. I thought it was going to be less flexible and would need time to break in but to my pleasant surprise it's quite flexible and over time will become even more so. Love the design and color and I am planning on future purchases 😎
