Chris, are you going to incorporate the second set of smaller fins as you seem t hav on the 123 model in your first post? It sure does look nice IMHO! I want one in either case.

Karl,

I wasn't going to add the 2nd set of fins as what the CR123 looks like. The single CR123 light is actually a E-series tube with my E2C FINNED adapter, then the finned head is on the adapter. Putting fins on this tube just didn't look right.

Thanks for both replies Chris, much appreciated! I trust your judgement on the finning and certainly do understand casual interest before actual price is determined. I'm still in for one! Karl

I will draw an 18650 extension tube up in CAD and render it so you can see what it would look like attached to this light. Not promising that this is something that will be produced.
I would buy this too.
No serial number for me.

Is it too rude to ask for a rough ETA - I only ask because some prepaid's I have gone into in the past have taken up to 6 months (one I am still in is going onto 1.5 years @ $1300 :sick2:)

Not rude asking for a lead time on this light. I know if it were me I would like to know also. I put the date on my website at 8-26-11. This date is showing the longest possible time it will take for this light. Most likely the light will be completed before this date.

Prepayment or partial payment would be much appreciated to cover some cost of the material. It is not required that you prepay but the ones that do will be the first to get their lights. It does encourage me to want to get the job done quicker since I owe everyone something.

I can ship the light for free using First Class Mail. If you would like it shipped any other way then let me know before the lights are completed!

If you would like to prepay partial or all you can send Paypal payment to: sales (@) ogazent.com

Moola is in the bank thanks mate.
I think you are on to a winning formula, P60 is very popular format as it's easy to keep up with led technology and not just sticking us with the manufacturers propriety led, driver, pill, reflector.

Thank you for the payments.

Here are a few renderings without the anti-roll tail. Still has a wider base for easier tail stand. Not sure if everyone wanted the anti roll tail. :)

I prefer the anti-roll tail please. (with the cigar grip)
Also, just wanted to confirm that the bezel ring is wavy/crenelated like in the CR123 light.
I prefer that to a smooth bezel-ring.

Anti-roll it is. Just thought I would have another option for people. :)
Also, the bezel ring is crenulated. I didn't do the crenulations on the renderings since it was just quickly done. But they all will come with a crenulated Bezel.

+1 on both for me too please.

oh and I'll have the magnetic smart ring dimming switch on mine too, JOKING!!! - but seriously I have always wanted a slide dimmer button for my thumb up near the head as it would be intuitive.

I can go either way with the anti-roll but if I have a choice I'll take the one without it.

I wouldn't go with the slide dimming. The next version will be like the faucets that you just touch. Use the tail to turn it on but then touch and hold the front bezel for your desired brightness. When it gets to your brightness you like just release.. :sssh:
