I can tell you, nothing short of amazing everytime I see it! This last time in delivering "secret project # ?" :thinking: I had the chance to walk the spiral staircase! Wadda trip! Too bad my "boy" wasn't there to see "dad" do it.:devil:

The stairs are done. This is 2.5" manila rope running through powder coated steel.

Ok, but someone is going to have to come with me to PA. I'll hold Dave upside down and shake him, while someone else catches the plans as they fall out of his head.

That is, Dave is creating/fabricating this as he goes. Perhaps the actual tree house has a plan, but it certainly looks like Dave is creating everything else from scratch.

I have had the privilege to ride on that elevator up to Dave's tree house AND despite the fact that it was unfinished and being powered by an electric drill AND the fact that I am a great big heavy monster, it ran as smooth as a well oiled sewing machine!
