Hey guys, just picked up an Esbit folding pocket stove from REI today.
I had wanted one before finding the G.I. canteen-cup shaped stove mention in my previous post above. I still think that stove is better since it can be made into a complete kit with a traditional military canteen and cup. Also, that stove uses any type of tinder and kindling that you wish to use. The Esbit is basically made to be used with special fuel cubes. You can buy extra cubes, and I did see them next to the stove itself.
Thing is, this thing really is a pocket-sized stove. It's a little thick. But not unreasonably so. Saw it, wasn't too expensive, decided to get one.
