That was a good album too! Too bad he really didn't do too much after that although I recall a song from him called "Monkey On Your Back".

The album that song appeared on was Aldo Nova "Subject".
I have that one too, if you need a track listing or something.

Circa. 1983.

For some reason, I wanted to listen to the song "Monkey on Your Back".
It's about using needle drugs like heroin, but I do not use needle drugs. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Although their sound got more polished and and some may say commercialized thru the years (think Heartbeat City), I still think the Cars debut album was their best one.

Aldo Nova "Aldo Nova".
For some reason, I wanted to hear the song "Fantasy" a few times.
The original MTV version (circa. 1982) had a better-sounding beginning, but this version isn't too bad.

Kraftwerk "Radio-Activity".
For some reason, I wanted to hear the songs "Radioland" and "The Voice of Energy".
Although "The Voice of Energy" is in German, I found a translation of the lyrics:

This is the Voice of Energy
I am a giant electrical generator
I supply you with light and power
And I enable you to receive Speech,
Music and Image through the Ether
I am your servant and lord at the same time
Therefore guard me well
Me, the genius of Energy

The same as yesterday morning.
Down the pipe, either Kraftwerk "Trans-Europe Express" (the first popular Kraftwerk album) or Worm Quartet "Sumophobia".
For some reason, I want to hear the Worm Quartet song "Let's Break Some Furniture" even though I do not feel like breaking, setting on fire, or peeing on anything. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

At this moment: Green Jellÿ "Cereal Killer"
Circa. 1993.

Green Jellÿ used to be named Green Jello but Kraft/General Foods got all pissed and made the band change its name.

David Wilcox! Got tired of playing these Steely Dan and Robben Ford tunes for a bit so I cranked up the ol' mp3's of Canadian David Wilcox and jammin' along with a glass of Hess Select /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif (while checking a few new posts in between sips) eheheh
