What is throw to you?

Anyway I had a PD30 on max no matter how much light I put on leaves, brush, grass the hardest thing wasn't seeing but rather distinguishing between those things and what might be a brown snake.

Although I was looking fairly closely using lots of flood I can see how concentration can play a huge roll in throw.

CRI has a lot to do with what you've described too... a decently powered incandescent would have made looking for your copperhead easier amongst the leaf litter :thumbsup:




As to what is throw to me?

Sufficient light as to be useful at the extreme range of my visual acuity... I like to see details
