This means that Nickel Plated Shiny Lights will have worst of Efficiency in terms of Heat Management... am i right?

But,at the same time, If these Lights are Held in hand (more heat will be conducted, because of more contact area between Human Skin & Shiny Surface)...

Cu is muich harder to machine, much heavier.. i've used copper in 'doses' to get the heat away from a lux into the main heat dissipator (typically the PERSON holding the flashlight).. since lights are often used for moments at a time... it makes sense to have an amount of Cu in there for the transients.. but surface area is the most important factor in steady-state cooling. (or how fast your blood pumps since that's the end heat-sink in most flashlight cases).

CDA alloy 145 (TeCu) in my experience, cuts like CDA 360 (free-machining) brass. Alloys 101 and 110 can be gummy.
