Will 32700 cells fit a D cell Maglite tube?

Found some of these online for a good price that would seem to work well with a project of mine. Does anyone know if they fit in the Maglite D cell or MagCharger tube? I know 26650's do and are a loose fit, so looking for something that doesn't need a spacer.

I have some cheap 32700 and they do fit in barrel but they are longer than D cells.
My 32700 cells measured 32.58mm in diameter and 70.14mm length.
Protected Keeppower 26650 with spacer work better for me in shortened MC tube and tail cap modified 2D M*g.

Not protected. Says they are 32 OD.

They are Lifepo4 as they suit the voltage I want.
