I want to get mine out more and use it so I just bought one of those Molle hydration pouch deals off of eBay to carry it around in. Got the idea off of here and looks to be a pretty useful (and cheap) solution to transporting a TK61vn.

Got mine out the other night and got a pretty easy ~850m out of it. I didn't have any more room to go further lol [emoji106]

Love this thing...even more now that I've a bag to carry it around in.

Any chance for a XHP35 HI in this light to take back the throne from the K50vn? :D
Or is there no driver available to drive this new LED?

I was just thinking the same thing. If somehow he can get a driver to run a xhp 35 in the tk61vn, it should take back the throne.

There are buck drivers that can drive xhp-35 (drive hard!), but the battery carrier would also have to be converted from 2s2p to 4s cell configuration, which is a pain :( but not impossible!

I am not sure about precise distances involved but as one can see from the daylight picture those dwellings are a good distance away. What an awesome light, I have had mine since late 2014 I think.

theres no way you can put another type of driver in this light to run a xhp35 HI? because if you can, this should outthrow the k70vn since the tk61 has a larger head right?
i still much prefer a side switch for these medium sized lights.

MY VERSION already out throws it if VINHS LUX Numbers are relatively accurate. I have the V4 version as has been field tested @ 1 mile 27 yards which is 670Kcd....the K70 is measured only at 550 Kcd! tested

Hey Vin.

What is the TK61vn50 XHP50 Dedome $270 (DriverVNX UI)

kcd rating and I suppose the beam tint is warmer than cool white due to dedoming?

Are you using the XHP35Hi yet in the TK61VN yet?

I found the Acebeam K50 body to be very slippery in my hand.

I had to use a special tape on it and it looks very bad now.

Are other Acebeam products like that?

I still don't have a TK61vn, i still want one, how can i have such a light?

Difficult, payments here in Netherlands Europe, to send it to vinh...we have euro,s here.

How to contact him...for his highest kcD..rated light?

2 Can the TK61vn V4, project its beam/hotspot, at daylight, when it is cloudy totally overcast dark day?

Or even with sunny weather?

3 I have a stock Olight M2X UT Javelot........M3X UT Javelot, with 160 kcD, and 250 kcD, will there be really a noticeable, difference in intensity visibly...kcD?

I recommend you email Vinh. That's what he prefers.

Being simple and to the point usually gets clear replies:)

The TK61vn V4 has been discontinued (Vinh cited reliability issues). The regular TK61vn will have a noticeable difference in intensity over your Javolet. The farther the distance is, the greater you'll notice it.

Also, Fenix has discontinued the TK61. They are going to replace it with another thrower. It may be worth it to wait a little while longer to see what it is. It may be able to achieve better results than the TK61 after modding. Of course, there are other impressive throwers available now (e.g. K70vn) for you to consider.
