LED walpaper

I saw a show stating that in a few years we will have LED wallpaper.
Possibilities : RGB wallpaper with a controller to change pattern daily.
No more interior lights just turn up the wallpaper intensity.
Forget the TV or monitor just use the whole wall(paper)

Possibility : RGB siding on the outside of your house, vary the color and appearance of your house as you please. Properly done and no one could find your front door!! Custom messages scrolling on the outside of your house?

the exit of one of the train stations here has what is effectively, tonnes of LEDS behind semi opaque glass. They are used to put on farirly impressive light shows while you are walking thru.

I think should one day there is such a technology it should be mounted on the ceiling. I can't imagine having to look at a picture hanging on the wall and get hit squarely in the iris with a 10K mcd LED...let alone something CREE based

I believe you are thinking of the wrong type...these would be more like the light from an el strip...or back light...
