Need input to get driver this 8000-11000 led !!!!

What kind of driver would one use to drive this LED unit.

It is an 8000-11000 lm LED array. Imagine the flashlight....:huh:

Hi, from the bridgelux web site, application notes, AN12. I think their products are a bit more fixed lighting / area lighting oriented, just due to the large size of the array.

I'm in the process of writing up my modifications to a $12.00 DC-DC converter which will convert 12 volts to 30 volts at up to 3 amps to drive one of these LED arrays.

It's only 7 x 3 x 3 cm, but the heatsinking will need to be improved for long-term running at 100 watts.

I've modified the constant voltage output to add true current-sensing and it's designed to vary the current between 3 and 0.3 amps by changing the sensing resistor. I'm using Low=0.3, Mid=1.0, Hi=3.0 amps. There's only 0.5 volt across the resistor, so it's very efficient.

I have one of the Chinese 100 watt LED arrays and it's working well to drive that.

Not really. Warm AND neutral.

If you want to run it of AC, just locate any of the AC drivers from ebay or an electronics store for the 'output' that you want.
