Hi I was curious if anyone know if the the head of the 200lumen e2d will fit on the e1d? I like that the head of the e2d is smaller but I also like the the compact size of the e1d I just wish the head was the same size as the e2d.

Yes, it will fit.

But keep in mind, the E2D head is designed for 6 volts, E1D = 3 volts.

You do have the option to put a 4.2 volt 16340 in the e1d for a barely perceptible decrease in output (even side by side).

I'm just worried about burning out my e1d, I talked to a lady at surefire and was told I should not do it but she didn't seem to confident in her answer or knowledge on the subject
