Haven't handled one just yet, but from trusted friends - some of whom have intimate knowledge of the actual custom Blackwood Skirmish - it is said that this is as good as such a production copy can get.
It's one of the most highly anticipated products of the year, and as both a Benchmade and Blackwood fan, I am very, very much looking forward to delivery of my pre-paid/pre-ordered piece.
From Neil Blackwood's mouth, Benchmade really nailed this project on the head in terms of design and execution.
There's literally not one true knife-enthusiast I know of who doesn't, for one reason or another, really itch for this knife's appearance on-market.
