E1L in HA Black - do they exist?

I would love to have an E1L in black with a scout light tailcap and E1B clip. But do E1Ls' in black exist? I know the asain market gets some different models. If all else fails I'll have to get one of the modders to build me one...

I'm sure I've seen a photo of a black E1L. Very rare, but I'm sure that at least one has been made. I'll have a look :o

Yes, Black KL1's were made.
Aparently not many, but they do exist.
I know 1wrx7 has one and I've seen several others for sale both here and on eBay.

Agreed. The KL1-BK is rare but not extremely so. I've seen a few "E1L" lights put together using a KL1-BK and an E1e-BK. Far more rare, however, is a true E1L-BK, with a the body actually marked as an E1L rather than E1e. I can only remember seeing one.

LAPolicegear still has this incandescent listed as a closeout item. I don't believe a black KL1 or KX1 head was made so you would have to go two tone with it, which may be as close as you can get.

The KL1-BK was certainly produced. Finding the black KL1 isn't the problem - finding a black E1L body is.
