Looking forward to meeting all you jokers.

I'll be driving down but won't be arriving till midday on 1/20. I should be able to help with some of the errands.

Stan, Mike and I have decided to change our plans for Saturday. We are not going hiking. We are going to go on an Extreme Dirtbike / ATV ride. It will leave at 8:00 AM on Saturday and get back at 2:00 PM. Cost is around $300 per person and everything is included. Pickup from MGM.

I called and they allow you to pick between an ATV and a bike but the bike is more money. This ride is for experienced riders only.

If you are interested in joining us please post here ASAP. There is room for more.

Cheers
Dave

BatteryJunction.com CPF Customer Appreciation Party at SHOT SHOW

Thursday, January 21st, 6:30 PM

Platinum Suites Hotel
211 E. Flamingo Road
Las Vegas, NV 89169

Dear Friends,

At this years SHOT Show BatteryJunction.com will be hosting a Customer Appreciation Party at the Platinum Suites Hotel in Las Vegas from 6:30 PM until around 11-ish. The main focus of this event is the CPF (Candle Power Forums) community but other groups will also be invited and we'll also have friends and associates from a number of the factories joining us as well.

We have booked the Marquis Suite, the largest available suite at the Platinum, and will be offering an array of food and drinks. Because of the hour this will be dinner for most attendees and we are planning appropriately. We are expecting about 60 people to attend - perhaps more.

Because we will not have the room number until the day of the party, or perhaps the day before please check this thread around 4PM on Thursday: https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/256582.

Alternatively at ~ 5PM, you may pick up the room number at SS10 booth #4461, Springboard Engineering.

We look forward to seeing you all there!

Rules:
-No smoking in the room or on the patio (hotel's rules).
-Come prepared to have fun.
-Bring cool stuff to show off. :)

Seeking a volunteer to bring an iPod or iPhone filled with PARTY music (fun background stuff - most people will want to talk).

The hotel will have a BOSE wave radio there - it requires that the iPod/Phone bringer also have a mini stereo cable to connect the audio and their USB cable and wall adapter to power the iPxxx/x.

Hey MrMom, Rothrandir suggested to me that we do a Harrah's buffet night... I'm all for it...

Great idea, I'm game. What night? The last time the CPF crew was there, we had to carry Rothrandir out. It had something to do with food overload. LOL Wasn't that the place where the Buffet pants idea was forged?

It's possible. I believe it was the next day, when buying a titanium folding spork from the Gerber booth that I told the two attractive salesladies there of my plans for the buffet pants. You should have seen the looks they were giving me!!!

At the last show in Vegas we did a night shootout out in the mountains and it was a blast.

Maybe Friday night or Saturday night we could all go out into the middle of nowhere (maybe the same place as before) and have another shootout and maybe a night hike?

I really liked the hiking idea from earlier, and think having a night hike would be that much better...
