Hello all,

I have a Barn Burner with an extra battery. I am thinking of letting it go?? I have been out of lights for a while and am not sure what a fair price would be?? Can any of you help me with getting an idea of what it would go for?? thanks

If it is in like new condition and light usage, an extra battery and a Fatboy bulb (has). Then it should go for at least what Matt is selling his L70 for. I'd say $1,000.00
It is a true 75 watt output, capable of being changed to 80 watts. It does not have dual wattage (output) capability but it does have more power. More WOW factor capability.
It is more than 1 year old so it is out of warranty. So changing it to 80 watts wont be a factor there.

I bought a 2nd hand (3rd?) BB in Dec. 2008 ... 2 fatboys, 2 batteries, body a little worn, but (to say the least) it does the job! At that time, I paid 1400.00.

Matt's pending L70 looks attractive enough to bring a used BB's price down a bit, but I have no regrets ... despite its age, there are a limited number of these available, and as Dan says, they are still king of the mountain.

Not to hijack the thread but, just wondering how I might go about converting to 80 watts ... and because the body is a little worn, whether the bulb and ballast would be interchangeable with the L70.

They typically have sold for $1200-1500 depending on urgency of seller.

Andreas, you may want to check condition of battery after all this time. There was a self discharge issue with pack connected to light, less so with updated PCB (vs. those of us who had original XeRay 50W & upgraded to BB balast & bulb pcb has faster self-discharge--which can ruin batteries)

That can be done for a very minimal charge. Please handle that via PM or e-mail.

I believe 95% sure you could purchase an L50 and move your 75 watt ballast and bulb over to it. Thats a creative Idea but you would loose the dual wattage capability.
