Flashlight Enthusiast
Well, if you leave this baby on high for long, it does get warm!
I took my wife down by the water where I saw a family of raccoons about 100 yards away last night while scanning in turbo mode (their eyes looked like very bright flashlights looking back) the trip down I turned it down because it was too bright for up close trail viewing.
Once we were down by the murky water I cranked it to high to see If we could see any fish in the water... Nope but lots of minnows!
The light started getting quite warm after a few minutes.
My only gripe is when I went to turn the light down I nearly scorched my hand!
Lesson learned.. If it's getting hot on the handle, it's cooking on the head!
Too bad the turn adjustment ring is not in the rear but at least by being in towards the front, you are more likely to stay in touch with how hot the light is getting.
It's quite amazing the power we are now getting out of led lights!
