I got a Klarus XT12GT. Nice little thrower and the 18650 included battery was a nice touch. I got a hankerin' for a headlamp as well so I received a ThruNite TH20. The neutral tint was on the warm side which is exactly what I wanted. Nice amber color and I really think this headlamp is going to turn out to be one of my favorite lights.

My father in law gave me this. I have plenty of modern nice flashlights so I rather buy new ones myself so they looked to give me something different. Don't know how old it is but it's pretty old and still works! Cool addition to my collection!

Is it Bakelite? Maybe it was GI in WWII or Korea?

What did they get? My guess, Maglite AAA.

A few Solitaire LED models, a PK Knight, some Pelican 2350's I bought in supply, a couple of Maglite ML50's, a Nebo assortment and an Ozark Trail 2x AA my pa-n-law had remarked about.

That is a WW2 era flashlight issued to soldiers and a darn rare one these days. The B was the first plastic model to be issued to soldiers. By Korea the C and D had come out.

GT Price, Eveready, Fulton, US Lite and Bright Star had contracts but Eveready did not make many at all.

Emisar D4 in blue and a Black Ds1 for distance, plus 18650 setup since I've never owned a light with this battery. Lots of fun.

I got a Nitecore LA10 mini lantern.

I gave away a jet beam jet-2 mk with a 16340 and charger to my niece who is trying to get into the police academy. This will not be her duty light, just a personal light.

So your plan is to order 3 identical Zebrlights, open all 3, use all 3, pick 1, and return the other 2 that you used even if there is nothing wrong with them? And ZebraLight can't sell the lights as new anymore, because they've been opened and used?

About 4 years ago I got 3 47's mini aa^2 and kept the best one then gifted the other 2. You shouldn't assume the worst unless specifically stated.

I ordered a SureFire 6PX Pro although it won't arrive until the end of the week.

I'm new to the forum and flashlights and when I started reading here I soon found myself looking around the house to see what I already owned. Nothing that cost more than $20 and I think only one no name LCD I got off eBay a couple years ago. So I thought I'd treat myself to a "real" flashlight and ordered the SureFire because it was only $38+. Also ordered a couple of 16650s and a charger. I know y'all spend a lot more on your toys however I just want to dip my toes.

Merry Christmas!

Good choice MJ

The G2x Pro in tan was my first SureFire. It's still one of the favs around the house and still has the batteries it came with in 2015. (We use it on low mostly).

Like you, all I owned were incan and one of those multi LED numbers that put out about as much light as an incan minimag. So I started with Coast lights and other zoomies but I had to try me one of them SureFire's. I considered the 6PX Pro but that tan body just looked so... gentle.
(I'm up to 6 tan ones, a black and a yellow now)

Anyway, you won't be disappointed.

Merry Christmas

It starts innocently enough. Next you'll find other lights from other makers that can operate on your 16650's. Then you'll get an 18650 for the improvement in run time. Before long, you'll find a reason to buy dedicated 18650 lights. Might as well get another charger at this point, right? Perhaps now you need a pure bred thrower. And a flood light? What about something for your key chain? Then there are those high CRI emitters...

Me? I can stop anytime. No addiction here.

Just got my Malkoff M91 flashlight with the warm emitter and the tri-cap. Merry Christmas.

I got an RC Quadcopter today w/ lots of LED lights on it. Does that count? ha ha...

(PS. I did buy myself that SF UM2 last month as an early Christmas gift, since I didn't want to miss out on that sale and their dwindling stock.)

Sounds like a fun journey! Now to take my time and make it last. I usually dive in pretty quickly after dipping my toes... I want to stretch this one out... however that's a real good plan! He he...

Lost in NY
While out hiking I found a "Light and Motion" Urban 500 bike light. I'm guessing that a mountain biker lost it at some point.
Since there really wasn't any place to leave it where the owner might find it I took it home and gave it to my father in law who was looking for something for his street bike.

I did, however, get some very nice scented candles for the house and a couple of Aladdin Lamp mantles.
