ROLL TIDE!
Being a warm hearted guy, I'm kinda scared that a W1 would end up collecting dust on the shelf (it would have plenty of company!). When something warmer than 6500k becomes available in a W1 I'll be all over it. And while we're on the subject, what is the temp on the XPG2 PDT that I ordered? I understand it's de-domed and that warms it up a bit. From reading here I get the impression that it looks around 5000-5300 or so?

I have a d4vn xpg2 pdt.. it looks neutral.. it will also hold turbo time little bit longer than xpl hi.

Anyone buy one of these in W1 or W2 yet? If so, did you get it with specifications? No specs are listed for W2. Also never seen a beamshot for the W1 version... would love it if anyone had some pictures or stories and opinions about these new variants! Im trying to buy a pocketable D18vn W1 and seeking the best pocketable host for size to output/throw ratio under 30mm diameter.

OnlyownEnergizer250lumen: I have a W1. Specs are listed for W2 on the site, they aren't for W1. It's 3klm and 700m throw if I remember well (I left specs at work).

I like it very much. It's been a long search but this one finally does what I wanted: significant throw and small enough for EDC. I always have it in the pocket. It gets hot quickly but it's not a problem for the time I need turbo; I use it with a Shockli 5500 batery. It's replaced the Imalent DN35.

Thanks... although I'm not sure we are talking about the same light?

This is the Emisar D4vn, it runs on an 18650, and while 3k lumens sounds right, 700m throw is impossible... 450 meters throw max for this little guy in w2 I'd imagine...

I googled Shockli 5500 and it shows a 26650 so I suspect you are referring to the D4Svn... way too big for my EDC purposes unfortunately, otherwise I'd buy it in W1 immediately.

Still no comments from anyone who owns this D4vn in W1 flavor? Jeez. Where the high output EDC thrower family at?!

Im anxiously awaiting thoughts of you owners to compare with my incoming FW3A triple W1.
