    Hi-Lo !AA recommendation

Yes, I have contacted both LumaPower and BatteryJunction.com via emails. The latter says I should return the flashlight with "all original parts and packaging" (which I no longer have). All I really want is a flashlight that works correctly. If this is because of a defective rear switch...

    Hi-Lo !AA recommendation

I would not be so sure regarding quality of LumaPower products. Evidently defective rear switches are not uncommon to the LM31 as this problem was mentioned before: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?p=2169930 Apparently they have not addressed the quality control problem...

Looking for a decent 1 AA Cree light

I have the Lumapower LM31 and like it, except that low power does not work. I have to do two clicks to get only one light level -- high. Are there any similar flashlights that actually work correctly? CheviotMike http://mstecker.com

    Hi-Lo !AA recommendation

Can anyone recommend a 1AA (can use both alkaline and NiMH) LED flashlight with rear clicky switch that has two (and no more, no strobe nor SOS) brightness levels? For high power I am interested in 60 - 80 Lumen range. I purchased the Lumapower LM31 which seemed great as advertised. However...

    Ultrafire C# color and heat

Hello Jimmy: It seems you never know what you are going to get when you order an Ultrafire C3 from Dealextreme. My first one had a definite green-yellow tint to the light. The second was close to pure white. What color tint does yours have? CheviotMike http://mstecker.com

    Ultrafire C# color and heat

I purchased an Ultrafire C3 from DealExtreme (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1993#) and liked it very much except for a mild green-yellow tint to the beam's color. I decided to purchase another one from them, but was told that they were out of stock. About a week later the unit was...

    MiniMag 2AA LED switch

I have a MiniMag 2AA LED flashlight which is only a few months old. The front focuser/switch seems defective as it only goes on for a small part of the rotation and therefore does not have the same focusing range as when it was new. Is there any way to get a switch (preferably rear clicky)...

    FreeLight Spartanian switch

This forum is great! Thanks to all for your help. I ordered the complete rear assembly of the tailcap (black) and switch for the D-mini to replace the one from my FreeLight Spartanian flashlight. Ricky from Lumapower was very helpful and says the complete unit is $15 (including shipping). He...

    FreeLight Spartanian switch

Hi Martonic: I am confused. Do I need to do some assembly like soldering in order to replace the FreeLight Spatanian rear tailcap/switch assembly with that of the Lumapower D-mini? Also how does one order an item from Lumapower? Their "Order" link is not active. CheviotMike http://mstecker.com

    FreeLight Spartanian switch

Hello Martonic: Thanks for the tip regarding exchanging the FreeLight Spartanian rear tailcap switch for the one made for the LumaPower D-mini. I went to the Lumapower website and clicked on D-mini and found the following: D-Mini optional parts update : 27-Feb-2007 New 2-stages module is now...

    FreeLight Spartanian switch

Hello 65535 and others: Thanks for your advice. I have never altered a flashlight before, so how does one safely remove the thick rubber switch cover and replace it with a more flexible one? Could I cut the rubber covering off the rear clicky switch with an Xacto knife? I do not need the...

    FreeLight Spartanian switch

I have the FreeLight Spartanian LED flashlight from BatteryJunction.com: http://www.batteryjunction.com/spartanian.html I like this very bright compact flashlight except that the low power setting is too low and the rear clickie switch is very difficult to press. It requires much more force...

Kai Domain - Mysterious cheap light...

Has anyone bought this flashlight from Kai using the Mozilla Firefox 2 browser? I have been trying unsuccessfully to purchase it using Firefox. However, when I switched to MS Internet Explorer it seemed to work OK. I know that occasionally Firefox does not function normally on a website...

Kai Domain - Mysterious cheap light...

I am still unable to purchase the flashlight from Kai, so ordered a similar one from DealExtreme with no problem. Kai is the only dealer I have this problem with, so will not be ordering from him anymore. CheviotMike http://mstecker.com
