    If it doesn't get dings its not being used. Might as well not buy if you aren't going to use them. I just wondered if it would be strong enough not to get damaged I don't care if it gets marked up it it still works. Where's the Rob weighing in he should know more about the metallurgy of the lights.

    I have carried my there for years and have no problems. It is not there only in the the hottest part of the summer when I carry a pocket watch instead. The heat makes a wrist watch uncomfortable so I go to the pocket watch.

    Forgot to ask if I can use rechargeable batteries in the new light when it gets here? I know some lights cannot use the rechargeable batteries. I do not want to damage an expensive light.

    I don't know much about lights but if the color of the line across the beamshots is the same color as the output of the light the line will disappear if slightly different it will make the line standout. So it depends on the color output of the light how the line will show up or not. Make one...
