I have carried my there for years and have no problems. It is not there only in the the hottest part of the summer when I carry a pocket watch instead. The heat makes a wrist watch uncomfortable so I go to the pocket watch.
I am curious now that I have the light why the head is so large. Is there a specific engineering aspect that requires that size? It is definitely bright with a loooooong throw.
