oops yah i remembered i forgot to edit something. you can run the star parallel. if you remove some solder on the board that makes it run in a series i think. if removing the solder that makes it run in a series is not irreversible i will probably just order the pads and led separately or...- dengdam

why is it more for fixed lighting than for flashlights? can a 18650 battery with the right driver run this led? 2.75 and 350ma min 3.7v and 800ma max that seems toatally doable. sorry im a total newb at looking at flashlight parts and building one but i was thinking of trying to make one...- dengdam

which will be a better mod for a floody light?

wtb pocket sized floodlight for filming .5-5 feet away. anything cool in mind?
whats the cheapest or most affordable light i can buy that can use a malkoff drop in? anything with multi modes? i am concerned about about pwm and flickering. what has a floodier beam a malkoff or a zebralight? i missed out on the warm zebralights. they told me in 2 weeks awhile back...- dengdam
