Nitecore D11 R5. Takes 3v batts (Walmart- Westinghouse LiFePO4) and is BRIGHT. PD switch is quiet and reliable. Remembers intensity level used last. Is sturdy. AA size fits in front pants pocket well. candle mode stands up well. Does not roll. I like that it does not have a clip or anything...

Is Shark's ouput true PWM, or does it just accept PWM input?
Lumileds say their Luxeons are best dimmed not with decreased currents but with PWM outputs.

I don't really like the way cylindrical lights fit in front pants pockets and, I always have a back/hip pocket free. A candy-bar style SHAPED light would EDC nicely in a back pocket.
