ARC AAA head to body fit

My new Arc AAA light head sticks out quite a bit from the body with a battery in it. The O-Ring is barely covered from the body of the light when off. Is this normal?

    The New Arc-AAA

Hey Pete, Great to see you are back in business. Does this mean you will honor your "lifetime" warranty on previous MFRD Arc lights? Thanks, Anton

    2 stage switch for Kroll?

Anyone make or know of a two stage switch for a Kroll? I think this would be a GREAT addition to an LS. I know there was one made for a twisty but unsure of Kroll type. Thanks, Anton

    TNC AA two stage switch????

Has anyone made a 2 stage switch for the TNC AA? If anyone can point me in the right direction let me know. I am interested in this feature on my light. Don't want the kroll 2 stage, prefer something in the tailcap. Thanks, Anton

Sold/Expired WTB ARC LS two-stage switch

Does anyone have a two stage switch available for an ARC LSH-P? I would like the option of using a lower light level and extended run time. I know the ARC is regulated so is this a problem installing / finding? Thanks, Anton

This looks great. What is the smallest 1 cell LED Surefire you made mixing and matching?

    Surefire L1

Hello everyone, I've just purchased a Surefire L1. It seems to be a GREAT little light. Construction and design are excellent. It's longish for a single 123 cell. Also the output of the LED isn't as uniform as my LSH-P but still good. I really like the idea of 2 output levels. I have a...

    Over-driven LED in LS?

Luke, Thanks for taking the time to respond and explaination. It makes sense. Do you think the LS "junction temp." is 85 C as you had indicated? Or was this a random number? Anton

    Over-driven LED in LS?

I was reading on another flashlight MFR web-site about over-driven LEDs. They claimed to use multiple LEDs to not overdrive a single, and brighter, LED. I know that overdriving an LED will result in a shortened life and reduction in lumens over a short time. To get to the point: would the LS...

More Arc5 information.. (proto photos inside)

The ongoing discussion is very technical. Regardless, here is my input for the ARC 5 (more along the lines of practical matters); 1) If possible have the light tested and rated intrinsically safe. 2) Make a lock-out switch so no in-advertant powering (unsure if the 4 has that feature - I have...

    Arc LS & Travel

I've traveled 4 continents with the Arc LSP and it's a great light. Small enough to bring everwhere and a great battery life. My only complaint is the tail switch. The rubber boot is pretty worn on mine due to use. It's also much softer to turn on and off then when it was new. (sometimes...
