    L3 Illumination L10 Protected or Unprotected 14500?

Re: Using 14500 in L3 IlluminationL10 So nothing's going to happen to the light right? Just uncomfortably warm/hot? Going to try it out! At least it's only $25 if anything goes wrong. I'm just more worried about something blowing up and hurting me/others.

    L3 Illumination L10 Protected or Unprotected 14500?

Using 14500 in L3 IlluminationL10 Just wondering if it's a good idea. I know the product pages say not to do so due to heat... but supposing I didn't mind the heat.. is it safe? I'm wondering if it's more of a disclaimer to be legally safe from burns, or if there's a chance of some sort of...

Benchmade Griptilian springs breaking, #4 and counting

Pretty much the reason I won't buy a benchmade. And the whole Spyderhole controversy. Anyways, I've been reading up more on the omega springs, since I'm not very familiar with Benchmade, and over on Bladeforums, one of the main gripes is that benchmade won't sell omega springs and you have to...

    Cleaning tips for blades

It is not necessary to clean it, especially since the UK is a stainless steel. I believe S30V? I can't remember exactly. Anyways, just wiping the blade down and keeping it clean has done the trick for all of my knives, although if you want a better coating, Tuff cloth provides a corrosion...

Benchmade Griptilian springs breaking, #4 and counting

Omega springs break quite a bit. One of the reasons I'm not very fond of Benchmade. But the thing is, they just break. Unless they're breaking really quick, I think it just depends on your luck. I've heard of people where none of their springs have broken in 10 years, and people who have had...

Seeking small reliable quality AAA EDC light for $20 or under

Right now, I'm wavering between the ITP A3 EOS and the Thrunite Ti. Anyone have the runtimes on the Ti? for some reason I can't find it anywhere.

A one and two celled flashlight in CR123A or AA?

Sorry, I thought I posted this before, but the computer's a bit glitchy. I'm looking for a light that runs on 1AA, And 2AA, or 1 CR123, And 2 Cr123s... like a tube to extend it so it carries two of the original batteries. Thanks a lot for helping, and really sorry about not posting that sooner.

A one and two celled flashlight in CR123A or AA?

Alright. After some consideration, I think it's better for me just to go with AA, since CR123 batteries and chargers are kind of a hassle for me, it'd be easier just to get the more available AA batteries. However, it seems that there are essentially no flashlights that run on one and two cell?

A one and two celled flashlight in CR123A or AA?

Alright, I looked around, and the Jetbeam MKI seems perfect, but apparently it's not being sold anymore? Also, the Fenix L1D and L2D look like they would work, but I can't find an extension for them.

First good light, general use, AA/AAA, <$75

The fenix E21 can be had for $30, and I find it very good.

A one and two celled flashlight in CR123A or AA?

Sorry since it's a bit unclear, but I'm looking for a flashlight that can take one or two AAs, OR, another flashlight that can take one or two cr123as. Preferably AA though. EDIT: Also, I'm looking for something around the $40 range. It'll need to be fairly durable, with a good throw, since...

Need a floody and bright pocket flashlight

I think the ITP A3 or A2 would be a pretty good idea. A3 runs on AAA, a2 and AAs. Or, maybe the Eagle Tac D25s?
