What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

I've been on the Nitecore-Trip lately :-) ** Nitecore TIP keyring light - 360 Lumen Rechargeable via USB, very tiny and a whopping 360 lumen for that small size: 61 mm x 25 mm x 14 mm * Output levels and Runtimes: Turbo (360 Lumen) for ca. 30 min High (150 Lumen) for ca. 1 hour 30 min Mid...

    LiIon 18650 battery comparison

Re: Default Re: LiIon 18650 battery comparison  All 4 together might have a total capacity of 6000mAh :ohgeez: Look at the specs: capacity is NOT mentioned. So they just NAME it "6000mAh", but do not confirm any capacity  Just forget about it and spend the $5.51 into a cool beer :D

P60 Drop-in long runtime prefered to brightness

You could try SKU 55026 from DX: 5 modes, hi-mid-low-strobe-SOS, 0.03A on low, $15.20 shipped. At my eyeballing, low is about the same as M1 on SC600 wich is around 65 lumens. MiniLux

    Zebralight H51

Re: Zebralight H51 details/preorder!!! You're right, totally forgot about the SC51 :ohgeez: Dang, didn't see that, seems as if I ordered my second H51 too early (got it about a week ago) In fact, v1 will still make a good present for non flashaholics or serve as a nice bedside light...

    Zebralight H51

Re: Zebralight H51 details/preorder!!! Hi I've got two H51's, so I decided to make a layman's runtime check on H1 and H2 using freshly topped 2000 mAh Eneloops on one of the lights and using the second light to compare the output level: H1 lasted for about 50 Minutes, then began to drop...

    Zebralight SC60

Yes, I tried NCR18650 2900 mAh in the SC60 as well as in the H60. No problem, working :) MiniLux

I guess these were degrees Fahrenheit? I don't think that 100 degrees Fahrenheit or about 42 degrees Celsius are really too hot for a flashlight or a 18650 cell :) MiniLux

    Zebralight H51

Re: Zebralight H51 details/preorder!!! Yes, also tried with Energizer Lithiums. There the difference seems to be a little bit more pronounced, but really can't tell if it is lower on H2 or higher on H1 :duh2: My H51 is from the second batch, maybe there have been some changes on these :shrug...

    Zebralight H51

Re: Zebralight H51 details/preorder!!! I do notice a difference, but it's hard to distinguish. So using 140 Lumen is probably the way to go: nearly no difference, but double the runtime. What I did notice too: to my bare eyes, L2 is lower than L2 on H31, but L1 is noticeably brighter than L1...

    Zebralight SC60

Yes, H60 is a bit tighter and shorter than SC60. Right choice as for NCR18650: they do fit both  As for SC60 and flat top AW2600 (don't have flat top 2200), it's kinda luck. Some fit, some don't. It seems as if the flat top part is squeezed inside a little bit, they don't make contact...

Lights made or designed in Europe

Well, "form follows function", and thus there are many similarities between flashlights, from China or from elsewhere, especially if you look more at toughness and usability than at design :) At least concerning the production, some parts seem to be built 'under licence' by Ferei Lightning...
