    I would estimate 700-900 lumens when powered by 3D. 4Ds should provide 2x the run time of 4Cs. 3D run time, I don't know, but it can be operated on max continuously w/o overheating.

    Bigchelis, thank you for the quick response. I have ordered a VP 2K from Lambda and was debating the dome issue. Your testing reports a 25% reduction in lumens, but a 150% increase in lux, would validate removing the dome is worth the trade off.

    your most expensive flashlight...was it worth the price?

    For a couple of years my MagCharger with FM bi-pin socket and body extension allowing 6D cells with Phillips 5761 was satisfying and worth it. But, since purchasing a Lambda VP 2K (SST-90) I have achieved a new level of expenditure satisfaction.

    Pocket Clip for Fenix CR123A Lights

    Don't know if it will work on P2D, but I have been using clip from 2AA Mini-M@g on my P1D. Might not be best solution, but has never slipped in my usage.
