    thx :thumbsup: oh well, so much for the "you should get it back within two weeks time" advice. in hindsight perhaps i shouldnt have sent it in, considering the flickering wouldnt be so noticeable outdoors, but indoors especially at close range its very apparent. at least the very nice holster...

    my thoughts exactly. nope, i was using energizer primaries at the time. i have eneloops now but i cant do anything now without my expensive,Missing In Action ld10. :shrug:

    i bought both fenix lights from a local bricks & mortar distributor. sent the problematic ld10 to them, then they filled in the warranty & sent it on its way to repair (presumably china). no word since. to be fair, the dealer called up & apologized for the long delay a month after i sent it...

    my LD10 had issues whereby on high & turbo there is significant flickering sometimes. sent it in for repair end of july & had no word since then. as much as i love my fenix E01, they have got to really improve on their customer service. until then i'm not going to purchase any more high-end...

    What are your everyday, workhorse lights?

    i heavily use all three of these daily: 1) eagletac p100a2 - main outdoor thrower; neutral whites would be nicer. 2) nitecore d10 - indoors, candlemode mostly for bedside low-light illumination; could do with a lower low. 3) fenix e01 - pocket carry everyday, brief use for daily tasks...
