What a coincidence. I'm operating under the same delusion. All because there is no machine shop in the US that can turn a piece of bar stock. If that assertion weren't so f***ing stupid it would be funny. Almost.

Recently arrived. 16 watts of high CRI goodness. Tint looks just like a Torch Lab Moddoolar High CRI. Only brighter. Much brighter. Button is soft press compared to the first run.

Dave,
Got your PM, but couldn't respond - your mailbox is full.
Glad to hear about memory. And I'll just skew towards 2X battery configurations.
Thanks!
Joe

I like the heft of the thng. I've got to both trim the spring and sand the battery holder. Drilling a hole or two makes a lot of sense. The spring had the battery holder jammed so tight I was beginning to think I'd never get it out. My holder jams easily and the spring has so much tension...
Wow! That's all I can say after receiving my TnC Titanium 26650 host. Build quality and finish are impeccable. This thing is just fantatastic all the way around. With a Kerberos quad wrapped with a bit of copper tape it is a polished hand canon.
Simply a fantastic product.

Got mine today. The battery holder was jammed in so tight it took 45 minutes to get it out. I've also found mine to be a bit finiky about making a circuit. The anodized threads on the tail cap and body make no real electrical contact at all so the unfinished tail cap edge has to be firmly...
It's not the threads. It's the pressure to compress the QTC pill and its surrounding foam insert. To get full output takes more turning pressure than any other twisty on the planet. Combine that with a very small head and you have a 2 handed exercise in frustration that is literally a...
Probabably because most don't have experience with Peak in general. And among those who do I suspect most simply aren't all that impressesd with the brand. I bought 2 Logans and they both suffer from poor ramping, two handed operation that nearly requires pliers to operate and a fit and finish...
Just go to their site and email Dan asking for one. I got an LMH warm CRI from them a few weeks ago even though it wasn't listed on the site. They built it in just a week and it's fantastic.

Re: Xeno E03 isn't bad with AA vs. ThruNite 1A & Fenix LD10 - BUT w/14500 it's GREAT!
I'm betting Caig Deoxit or ProGold would be an even better bet. They're made for just this sort of issue.
Re: Xeno E03 is sad with AA vs. ThruNite 1A & Fenix LD10 - BUT w/14500 it's GREAT!
Now that's interesting. I have am H31W with an XP-G Neutral and it's clearly warmer than my little Xenos. It's virtually indistinguishable from my EagleTac neutral. I'm tempted to try the warm X03 just to see...
