    NEW Nuwai Q-100 ( Q-III upgrade)

Another wow!! This is great !! My old (2 years) Q-III is still in my car and was replaced by my P2D as an EDC, but now ... I'm feeling that I'm getting weak. ... and what about the 2 cell (Ledwave or Nuwai, whatever) version. Can you speak about retro design after 2 years? Oh S..., I'm going...

Fenix T1, consider it a thrower?

What I didn't read in the postings is, if you could consider the Fenix T1 consider as a thrower. After Flashlight Reviews "retired", I did not find an objective measurement for throw or spill. What do the T1 owners experience?

    Fenix T1 and RCR123A

Hmmm, so much for protected. Seems to me that it is not the T1 which killed the cell. Could it be, that the cells were not equally loaded? Although that shouldn't be a problem, each cell has it's own circuit.

    Fenix T1 and RCR123A

Thanks guys for all that information. It's getting even more difficult to wait until the T1 arrives. Guilt free lumens makes it even more interesting (using RCR123A's on my P2D as EDC and my Ledwave XR55 which leaps to less importance now). Yes, what about the runtimes on RCR123A's?

    Fenix T1 and RCR123A

Hi, Just ordered a Fenix T1, it will arrive next week. Has anyone got a clue if the Fenix T1 will survive 2 RCR123A cells (3.7V), or will it be the same as with my Inova T3 (just the normal CR123A)? I am not really looking forward to immediately frying my new light. Cheers, Stormy

    Would a R123A 3.7V hurt a P2D in the end

Hi, My P2D, which I use for EDC, is running on a R123a 3.7 V cell. Yes, I have lost the low, medium and high mode for most of the time. Only if the cell is at the end of the charge I can use these modes. What bothers me is the fact that the 3.7V cell might hurt the LED and/or the circuit after...

Green laser pointer problem, mechanical or optical

Yes I do wear glasses, but even without my glasses the unit behaved the same way. The alkalines are not bad but certainly not the best (Ikea branded Varta), but the NiMH cells are top quality with better contacts and a bit different size (read: fits better).

Green laser pointer problem, mechanical or optical

Ashton was right for both causes. I replaced the normal alkaline cell with NiMH cells and the problem vanished, apart from some output variations when I push the button a bit harder. Another interesting thing is that on NiMH cells it seems to be a bit brighter and the unit heats up (well, heat...

Green laser pointer problem, mechanical or optical

Some weeks ago I got a green laser pointer 5-8 mW(made in China). It works fine, except for one thing. When I turn the pointer around its length axis, at a certain angle it starts dimming from 100% to about 10% and when I turn it further it increases back to full output again. Does anyone know...

    Fenix L1D CE switch

To me this sounds like a defective switch. I had the same problem with my Ledwave XR55 and I got the switch replaced. It will get worse and finally you will not be able to "switch" the light on.

    Lumahunter M1 and RCR123A 3.7V

Great !! Thank you very much for the information. This means, I don't have to buy a different type, as I am using 3.7V RCR123A for my XR55 and Q3.

    Lumahunter M1 and RCR123A 3.7V

Does the Lumahunter M1 survive 3.7V RCR123A cells or just the 3.0V ones? According to the specs the light can be driven with RCR123A, but a search on the web does not tell me if this means 3.0V or 3.7V. Would be great if someone knows somewhat more about this. Thanks...

    $110,000 LED lights

No, those are not Cree's but Luxeon LEDs. Did read it in a Lumileds newsletter.

    Fenix L1T problem

This subject will probably be covered before, but I could not find it. My L1T starts flickering from time to time and even cuts out completely. This not only happens in low mode but also in high mode. The strange thing is that with the L2T or the CR123 tube, the problem does not occur. Has...

    LEDWAVE X55

I have a Ledwave X55 for over a year now. It seems to be the same as the Nuwai TM-301X-5, but there are some differences. One of the most important ones is that the Ledwave has a glass lense and not a plastic one. Anodizing is somewhat better too. It is definitly a great light which produces a...
