Well, if you leave this baby on high for long, it does get warm!

I took my wife down by the water where I saw a family of raccoons about 100 yards away last night while scanning in turbo mode (their eyes looked like very bright flashlights looking back) the trip down I turned it down because it was too bright for up close trail viewing.

Once we were down by the murky water I cranked it to high to see If we could see any fish in the water... Nope but lots of minnows!

The light started getting quite warm after a few minutes.
My only gripe is when I went to turn the light down I nearly scorched my hand!

Lesson learned.. If it's getting hot on the handle, it's cooking on the head!

Too bad the turn adjustment ring is not in the rear but at least by being in towards the front, you are more likely to stay in touch with how hot the light is getting.

It's quite amazing the power we are now getting out of led lights!

Woo-hoo! 2015 X60vn on the way!!
Also a ShirtVN, too! Unfortunately, couldn't have the shirt engraved or have Vinh install PDTc XM-L2s in the sleeves. Anyone know if I can give the logo a current bump? :D
Thanks Vinh!

I just received this light from Vinh and he has gone above and beyond in accommodating my needs. He provided and gave me service I did not expect so big props to him. The light is beautiful and is an absolute beast. Judging from a ceiling bounce it outperforms my stock tn36 and blows away my stock tk75. The throw is tight and the premium dedome tint looks great and is quite pleasing to my eyes. I can't wait to be able to take this out on a night walk but even in my brightly lit room its pretty nuts. I am very satisfied with my first Vinh light :) I can see more to come.

Mine is ready for action for those bumps in the night, I don't have to try and find it on my night stand!

Note the SR90 with less than half the lumens is so much bigger.... Anyone need a SR90?
I won't be needing it again!..... Not with less than half the lumens for seems like twice the weight and size!

I have one of these beasts, and I love it.
One minor niggle though, the control ring is not always precise.

It is when I ramp up the power through the control ring into the first notch before the strobe.
In that position the output intermittently puts out either full power and or strobe. I never know what it will do.
This is without the selector ring in the strobe position.

Are the variable adjustment ring output settings/alignment(s) easily adjusted?
I have a decent amount of electronic experience, but I have never played with something like this before.

Thanks all
