True DC RMS Multimeter

In preparation for my new regulator I've been shopping for a good DC RMS multimeter.
My current favorite is a Mastech MS8218. Does anyone have any experience with Mastech meters?

Why would you need RMS in a DC meter? Makes no sense!

For it's price point, the MS8218 is a good DMM, in my experience. I prefer Fluke and Hioki meters, but Mastech has good stuff.

It makes a lot of sense if you ever tried to read a meter inline on a heavy load running a motor at low speed or
something that uses PWM to regulate output.

I think that an AC RMS meter would only be calibrated for sine waves (.707 of peak voltage IIRC). I don't know of a meter that can convert PWM into an equivalent DC voltage, however it might be something you can calculate using a digital oscilloscope.
