Any recommendations on AA 1.5v Li-Ion batteries?

I have plenty of Eneloop batteries but I need to find a battery that will work in an in Braun in-ear thermometer. This only seems to like non rechargeable AA 1.5v batteries which I hate buying and the Envelop trigger the low battery due to their lower voltage.

Is there any AA 1.5v Li-Ion batteries that are directly equivalent/replacements to non rechargeable AA batteries that will work in this device OK and safely?

I have seen the XTAR 1.5 Li-Ion batteries but are they any good? Any other recommendations? My charger does charge these batteries which is a bonus.

For the few devices which don't like the slightly lower starting voltage of eneloops, typically I will simply use non-rechargeable L91 (lithium primary) AA instead.

I haven't any experience with the various
" 1.5V Li-Ion " alternatives, but don't really like the idea of "extra circuitry" in these to adjust the output voltage.

I have several brands, but except for ebl and xtar , others are brands I never heard of before, and probably they are not real brands anyway, just rewrap companies. those 2 I mentioned above, seem to work just fine under 2A load. as far as capacity, from the way I use them I can not really tell if their claims are true. but there are many tests out there, several people tested those, however the way I see it, with unknown brands, you can not be sure that cells are consistent, you never know whether or not cells you bought today with same name, have same cells that were in the test. I go for Xtar, they make their own cells, unlike rewrappers who get them from unknown sources, that were cheaper at that time. and they have their rep here, if you got questions, you can ask manufacturer directly. And if their claim are true, they are top cells of that type today.

I have been using Soshine 1.5V Liion which I got from AliExpress. Soshine as a brand have been around for quite a while and at least in my device which requires 4 AA and does not like eneloops or similar, they have been good.

+2 for Soshine, they have been around for long time. I've been using their AA 1.5v in my trail cameras. With outdoor exposure to temperature changes, for over a year now, they're holding up very good

I have some Xtar AA w USB coming in the mail. I will do a review promptly.

I want the USB version because I dont have the special charger needed for the ones without USB ports.

I also just ordered 4 1.5V AAA w USB from Amazon, to try out (non Xtar as they dont make AAA w USB yet)... intended for my heater programmable thermostat, my DMM (which gives low battery warnings on Eneloop), and a couple of AAA lights

Soshine are so close, comparatively, standing next to each other, I felt no need to mic them. Right now I got all of em on duty.

They also have built-in USB C, so no special charger needed. A reviewer at time I bought mine, they were available on Amazon before tariffs, tested capacity on a capable charger, all showed even mAh.

AllMaybe specs read like the exact same cell as Soshine, could be same one rewrapped?

I also like Amz easy returns

I find the xtar AA with USB work in my lights with Convoy dual voltage drivers, but my Emisar D3aa will trip the protection circuit above setting 4 when step mode, all other settings at default. The vapcell usb-c 1.5V AA provide the same results.

Received some (non Xtar) AAA 1.5V LiIon w USB-C, posted about it here

Random post: 2aa Minimaglite with a 5mm yuji LED, using 2×XTAR clr4300 ha been running continuously since 6pm last night, it is now 7pm and the light still seems to be going strong thanks to the built in "regulation" on the cells.
