(My very last flashlight.... for now. To go with my last knife. Also for now. SOG Adventurer. Best friend of around 35 years said I wasn't very adventuerous. Well, I fixed that! Honestly, he's right. But no point in throwing away money to have an adventure if you can't share the experience with others.)

(I own one or two already. Such cables are getting harder and harder to find. Unfortunately, unlike Wurkkos, MecArmy has no interest in upgrading their micro USB lights to USB-C. So, if you like their lights, you better have a spare cable or three.)

(I really wanted it.)

Been a while CPF family, but the latest Nitecore release tempted for for another not required or needed light!
The P27ix got my spider senses tingling, seems flexible, nice size, blah blah blah. One negative I’ve found straight away, battery won’t fit in my charger. The charger will fit Fenix protected 21700’s!!! So not over impressed there. Means for now and the forceable , only charging will be via the lights usb-c.

Technically flashlight related since I can use the batteries with my Ryobi rotating head flashlight, and my Ryobi hand-held spot-light. So....
Deal Days are back. Always around Memorial Day, with Ryobi and other brands.
Took advantage of one of their two main deals.
Starter Kit: $99.oo for two Ryobi batteries (different sizes) + a charger.
Select one power-tool for FREE from a decent sized list.
I went with the just under $90.oo Recip. saw.
Planned on buying the saw in the near future anyway. Got it for FREE!
(Okay, it's a brushed tool. But it'll handle anything I need it to do. I'm not a Pro.)

I'm good for quite awhile now.

I did! That was awhile back. Works well.
Well, I just had to send a complaint on that tripod.
One of the legs are dented, so unfolding it was anything but smooth. And do you see something missing?
Yep, the quick release plate wasn't included.
But other than its practically unusable state, the tripod itself feels very sturdy. Damn shame there were problems with it, I really do like the feel of it.
EDIT:
It was a customer return to a domestic store and purchased through their webstore, but the description specifically stated "tested fully functional and complete".

I should probably look at a different line, or at least find somewhere I can buy in-person
E-tailer is coming good on it though. They are offering me a 50 % discount on top of the 50 % I already got for the damage, and they offer to send the missing part free of charge.
And the tripod itself is better than the one I already had (Velbon Sherpa 600R), so we are making a deal. I am buying a second outlet tripod of the same model, plus a spare plate + shipping (my suggestion to take the shipping). Then they will include the missing plate in the shipment, and give me the refund to my bank account.
I already have a use for the damaged tripod: I have put it by my nighstand, with a flashlight on it. The Convoy 3X21E, 519A 1800K fit even better on top without the plate. And the tripod had almost the exact height I wanted without touching the damaged leg. And at a 75 % discount, I call it a win-win for me.

Just placed an order for a second outlet Coman DX16 tripod. Adding a spare quick release plate, plus the missing one the E-tailer has promised to include for free. I like having spares of those plates, they tend to go missing when I least expect it.
And to make it worth their while for their excellent service, I also included a Fenix LR35R Pro in the order (also a discounted outlet unit). ~165 USD.
I recently purchased a pair of Nitecore NL2160HP batteries (protected button-top 6000 mAh)...only to discover I didn't have a light that would take them. Was intended as a replacement for the 2x 4000 mAh cells in my trio of Fenix LR35R's, but that was a no-go. Same with my Fenix HP30R v2 headlamp - I barely got the one cell I tried with out of it again.
The LR35R Pro comes with a pair of 6000 mAh cells, so I hope I can use the Nitecores in that one. And if they don't fit there either, there is back to the Coast PM310R lanterns - the Coast 21700 cells included there were the biggest ones I've ever seen.
