    Tk15 problem

Just had our first power outage of the new year. I reached for my 2 month old Tk15 and gave it a click, it stays on only as long as I keep the button depressed, as soon as I release it it goes off. Any idea of what I can do to correct this problem? It was working great up until now. Thanks.

Going to buy my first headlamp

I walk daily out on the dike at night. All lighting, is off in the distance so its as they say pitch black out so I always combine exercise with my other hobby, flashlights! I was thinking the other day how nice it would be to walk hands free, and was thinking of a headlamp? I am not...

    Fenix thrower?

I was contemplating a new Fenix light in AA format. Two that caught my eye were the TK20 and the LD40. Between the two which one throws the farthest do you figure? I'd like to buy one of them but just not sure which one yet? Thanks. :)

    Question about multi mode drop-ins?

I have a Surefire 6PL and a C2. I'd like to ditch the stock lamps and put some cree drop-in's into them. They would be 3 mode units. What I would like to know is with multi-mode lamps do you have to change out the stock tailcaps eg: momentary on, twist to activate and get the clicky...

Anyone have the AA Leatherman Monarch 500?

I was thinking of purchasing one of these and doing a review on it since I don't really see much of anything about this light on CPF? Does anyone have one of these new AA lights and if so their thoughts? Thanks.

Thinking of grabbing a Surefire Combat light

I was thinking of grabbing a Combat light such as a G2Z, Z2L, or a C2L. I guess other than the body material they all sport the same drop-in etc? Is there a Surefire sheath other than the hardshell/police style that will fit these types of lights? How do you guys like your combat lights? As...

An old charger and a question?

Guys, About 10 years ago I bought a Maha, C204F, charger like the one below. http://www.imaging-resource.com/ACCS/C204/C204A.HTM It has served me well and still does its thing. I was thinking of buying some new duracell precharged, white top batteries, to put in my new lights and just...

    Lanyard for commander 9an ?

Don't see one listed anywhere but can I get a lanyard from surefire to hook up with my 9 an? I need to be able to have the extra security on my walks. As always thanks. I'm looking for a ring like the other surefire lanyards have that will fit. :)

SureFire 9AN Commander: any good still?

I just bought one from Brigadier and am anticipating it's arrival. I did pre-buy some 3300ma nimih batteries for it as well so it should be ready to fly on my nightly jaunts. I walk an hour each night to keep blood pressure in check, I use my lights for extended periods of time so a...

    DIY for Dummies?

Matt, Being new I'd find this to be very helpful as well, however I think as I move thread to thread I realize I'm going to be doing it the hard way. There is a very good thread on this forum on batteries though that I'm sure someone will link up, it's very informative. And hey, whats with...

The SureFire 6PX/G2X Tactical and 6PX/G2X Pro Thread

The 6px lineup should be arriving in town here pretty quick and I have yet to experience a 200 lumen light. I think I will go with the dual aluminum model and see how long it lasts on my tenergy rechargeables?

    The Surefire E1E

Hey it's great you guys are enjoying your E1E series lights with or without mods. Personally as a very comfortable every day carry this one puts out enough Lumen for me. If it comes down to runtime vs. Lumen I'll go with runtime on this light. Thanks though for all the suggestions. :)

    The Surefire E1E

I don't have a lot of experience with lights but am continuously learning especially being on this great forum. A few weeks back I flashed the bulb in my new E1E but all is good as a new one arrived here yesterday and it's back on my hip. I quite like this light. It's a great little edc and...

    Tenergy cell identification?

Guys, I just received some Tenergy, RCR123A batteries from Fenix Canada. I did order the 900ma units but am not sure what I received as these Tenergy, RCR123A batteries are not marked anywhere as to what milliamps they are? My other Tenergy, RCR123A batteries I have came with a charger and are...

    AA batteries for SureFire 9N?

sorry I edited my last post but just in case you don't see it these are the batteries that I will be using in my 9an when it arrives. I need my lights to last at least an hour on rechargeables as I walk an hour each day for health reasons. I'm looking forward to seeing the runtimes I get from...

    AA batteries for SureFire 9N?

Does the 9n need to feed power from pos/neg terminals from the top of the light only, or can it get negative feed from the bottom as in the 9an? The reason I ask is that have you seen these batts? They do draw negative from the bottom only though and be forwarned if outside the US they are...
