What is magnet switch life expectancy?

Must be very low, hence the added spare switch in package

Adding free spare accessories doesn't mean short lifespan!! What kind of switch do you prefer?

Underwater (fresh) magnetic switch sounds efficient but in salt water corrosion may weaken magnetic effectiveness

I have never purchased a flashlight from a mfgr that packaged spare switch, only orings and lanyards
