Is this for real? is this a typo or ad hype? do these exist for $35? I got a Vector halogen for $20 that is worth it but this is mind boggling:

It seems that they have most of their lights available as reconditioned items- Probably not a good sign, but they have this light listed for $21.99, so I guess it's not a bad deal! They also have a 3 million candlepower rechargeable (remanufacured) for $39.99. Here's the links:

Yea.... you gotta be careful with the wording too. I've seen this alot on eBay. "H.I.D. type" bulb.

It's just a tinted halogen bulb...no biggie.
 
A trip to your autoparts store will demonstrate such ad trickery for anyone unable to tell an hid from a tinted halogen. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crackup.gif
These tinted halogens are also prone to absorbing some of the radiated heat and running even hotter than normal clear halogens do. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif

You guys got the right idea- just a bunch of blue tinted halogen H3's . My Vector at $20 was a good deal at the time but it is like a candle compared to my X990. Very misleading advertising though.
After careful reading,I see it says 100 watt HID type Halogen. That 1 million is the kind I have (shown in My Lights below) next to X990. Very tight nastey flakey beam it has- but 20 bucks is 20 bucks not $500 like X990. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
