I bought this DX sku 5211 "LED tape" to install on my kitchen cupboards. Im planning to install this across the lenght of the cupboards just above the kitchen floor. I bought 2 of these (1 meter each) and I need to solder them together somehow. I have the switch installed where I want and 220V running on behind the cupboards where I need it - I just need the proper power supply for this. Do You whink a standard 50 watt 12 volt powers supply from the supermarket will do the job ?
Heres the link to sku 5211 : http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5211

I had to buy a 210 watt supply as these were the only ones they had. Thanks for the tip anyways :)

Heres the finished light...a gadget realy but I can see already its gonna be usefull when looking for food in the midle of the night without blinding myself :p

I bought LED tape for my conservitry from led-tape.com and they provided me with the required power supplies. why dont give them a ring I am sure they would be willing to just supply you the power supplies lol :)

it is enough, as i know, 1 meter 3528 smd LED tape (60 leds), its power consuming is 4.8 watts. for 1 meter 5050 smd led tape (30 leds), its power consuming is 7.2 watts.
