This question gets asked routinely around here, and the answer is so far always the same: nobody makes 18650 holders.
I repeated tried looking for 18650 holders some time ago, but I could find none, so I had to build my own.
They sell Match containers in the Camping dept. at Walmart. They can fit 2 CR123A cells or (1) 18650 cell nicely. It has a screw on cap with a rubber seal. They are orange in color.
FiveMega used to make one for his 6AA flashlight body. Holds three 18650's in a cluster w/ series output. I use it in a FM3H w/ a WA 1185 bulb. I don't know if they're still available, but you could PM him and ask.
thanks for the replies, i was looking for something with all the batteries next to eachother. i wanted to make a 3 cree or seoul camping lantern with lots of runtime, but i guess i'll have to figure something else out. thanks for the help!
You can do that...I was just saying with the A123 cells which tolerate incredible abuses, and have no fire/explosion risk, you have more flexibility in making them into a form you want, and the 18650 are available now at Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, etc.. Take a look at a few of the links in my 2nd post in this thread.
