Hi everyone,

Sorry for announcing this quite late... We've been very busy preparing for
the show these past few weeks.

We would like to host a dutch get-together on Monday, Feb 4th, 6pm at
The Gold Coast (Port of Call Buffet) located on W. Flamingo next door to the Rio.

If you don't know where it is or need a ride, we can meet at the Fenix booth
(#24036) around 5pm.

There will be drawings for free Fenix goodies. We will also have a limited
number of bundles at show special prices :)

All are welcome - you don't have to a Fenix fanatic. :p

Please RSVP here in this thread.:party::party:

I should be able to make it, along with ho71ko. Free goodies are always a plus! See you at the show.

If I'm not chauffeuring my carpool-buddies to the airport for their departure, I'll be there!

Just for clarification, I notice you said the buffet would be dutch... I'm assuming that means I buy my own food.
Eh, drop them off at an airport shuttle :)
Yes it's dutch. I'll be contacting them to see if they'll do a group rate :p

Very kind of you, David!

Do these come with the obligatory emergency-access phone numbers for my credit card company, so I can warn them that I'm going to be exceeding my limit this month? ;-)

the numbers on the back! :D

About the Gold Coast - Ports O Call Buffet, it's $12.95 for the buffet.
I tried to negotiate a group discount but they wouldn't budge.
The lady didn't seem to want to work with me.

I googled for discounts and there some 2 for 1 or 50% off deal, but you have to
buy a LVA coupon book for $37.

I'll check for free booklets at the airport and report if I find anything :p

What? You mean you're not willing to pay all those extra fees for overweight luggage and extra luggage?

Just kidding, I know that kind of thing can eat you alive; it's one reason I'm glad I'm driving this year, so I don't have to worry about size & weight limitations for the return trip.

David and the Fenix crew,

Thank you all for hosting your event. Your hard working staff deserve two thumbs up for their dedication and pleasant nature. They are very down to earth and very knowledgeable. I learned and gained some great respect for the Fenix line of products from your presentation.

I must say, I never expected to come home with a free T1 premium from your attendee inventory of prizes. This light is a killer! It is the brightest production LED based light that I own, no exceptions.

I took advantage of your get together pricing and brought home several Fenix models. The lights are a hit. They are incredibly bright and the UI is a cinch to master. I must admit that I have never been a fan of UI based lights to the point that I have avoided them. The Fenix UI is a snap, almost second nature to operate.

The SHOT show was flooded with Chinese "me too" LED lights of poor fit, finish and design. I can clearly see that Fenix line has far surpassed the import standards in all expectations. The Fenix line is a serious tool for professional users. Your product stands out, way above the others. I'm impressed.

Thank you again and I hope to see you at SS09.

And another huge thumbs up to David for going beyond the call of duty with his Fenix get-together! It's wonderful to see this kind of dedication, and it really helps solidify why so many people buy from him and why so many people like dealing with him. And don't even get me started on his free light giveaways; I stayed at the Surefire party all night and never got a light...but everyone who came to David's party walked away with a free light. Hear that PK? ;-)

On a personal note, it was also nice to meet the man (scratch that - men) behind the store. I was fortunate enough to spend some one-on-one time with David on the way to the shootout, and with his employees at the party. I was genuinely impressed by their ethics, their drive, and their desire to bring an incredible light to market. This was my first opportunity to see many of Fenix's new models, and I was definitely impressed!

Thanks again for bringing Fenix to the US...and for giving all of us who attended ShotShow a "little something extra."

My wife loves her L0D, by the way. =)

What Flash and Mom said!

Vegas is the perfect place to find an out of the way corner of a casino to hang out in. We had our own bar and music, the place was completely ours!
