1d & 8 d maglite

i just made an 8 d cell maglite and a 1 d cell maglite by cutting a 2 d mag right at the handle and putting it on a 6 d mag. this thing is huge.

Seriously though, I'm not sure what's happening here. Did you thread the section that you cut off of the 2d to fit the internal threads on the 6d?

Suggestion: what if you rethread the "1D" to accept the tailcap, modify the switch, and use a 400mAh Li-poly cell? Make a real cute light, and I think you have just enough length to make it work...

I used jb weld to put it together. And the 1d I ran out of tubing. I was gonna use to 1d for spare parts but I it still works. So keeping it together for now. Hope you like them.:hitit:
